Big Al talks about the devastating injury to Emmanuel Sanders, and DMac says it’s bad timing for Jordan Taylor to be on IR. DMac doesn’t expect Andre Holmes’ to replace Sanders’ production, and fears this injury could be career-ending. Also, DMac asks Big Al if Courtland Sutton is ready to be the No. 1 receiver.
In the Big 3, the guys talk about what losing Emmanuel Sanders will do to the team, and if drafting a QB in the back half of the first round is worth it. Big Al says the Broncos should get a ‘W’ against the 49ers & Raiders, and DMac notes Paul Goldschmidt is on the move to St. Louis. Also, Big Al says congratulations to Mel Tucker on becoming the new head coach of the CU Buffs.

DMac says you never know when you’ll need your star players, and the loss of Emmanuel Sanders could be devastating. Big Al says it’s time for the young players to step up, and DaeSean Hamilton & Courtland Sutton need to catch the ball.
Al & DMac agree it’s about winning games, not completing passes, and compare Case Keenum to Kyle Orton & Tim Tebow. Al says nobody believed in Tebow long-term, and maybe Case Keenum just had a special year.
Al says it’s time for the rest of the team to step it up, especially the Tight Ends. DMac asks Al how the Emmanuel Sanders injury complicates things, and Al says no receiver will know the playbook like Sanders did. DMac says George Kittle is the 49ers’ biggest playmaker, and Phillip Lindsay was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
