Is the Denver Broncos game Sunday vs. the New York Jets a must-win?

Heading into a road tilt with the New York Jets on Sunday, the Denver Broncos have lost 10 of their last 11 games away from the Mile High City.
But aside from getting off the road slide, and a two-game skid this season, Sunday is a must-win game for the Broncos should they have playoff aspirations, said several 104.3 The Fan hosts on Wednesday.
DMac, Zach Bye, Brandon Stokley, and Mike Evans all said Denver needs to come away with a victory on the road against a 1-3 Jets team in order to realistically have a shot at making the postseason.
“If they can’t beat the Jets on Sunday, then we are, boy, not good,” said DMac, who added he believes the Broncos will win two of their next three games.
“It’s a must-win game,” DMac said. “If you want to make the playoffs, I think you’ve got to win four road games. And the four road games you should win are against the New York Jets, the Arizona Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Raiders.”
Stokley said the Broncos “can’t lose” in New York, though had trepidation about what Denver team may show up against the Jets.
“Which team is going to show up?” Stokley said. “Is the team that we saw against Baltimore going to show up? And that team can lose against anybody. Or is the team that we saw on Monday night going to be more the team that shows up here on out? That is the question.”
According to Stokley, the Broncos have “set the standard” of what kind of team they could be in a close loss against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. But if Denver can maintain that level of play, Stokley said, is still up in the air.
“Last year, we saw some good football early in the season. You look at the Cowboys game. Like, is that team going to show up the rest of the season last year? No, they didn’t. It was the team that played against the Giants, and that continued,” Stokley said.
