Nate Zelinsky joins the show to tell Terry & the listeners that when it comes to hunting season, education is key. Nate gives some pointers on how you can land a slam dunk as elk season enters it’s peak. Nate says know where the animals are at, and put a major emphasis on finding every animal. Once you find the animals, Nate suggests breaking it down into patterns where they are migrating to & eating at. Then come the fine-tuned minute systems & water/bedding times and areas. Nate mentions the importance of putting yourself in front of the animal when they are at their most vulnerable, and knowing when to make the decision to back off & learn more about the animal if it becomes too windy or the window becomes tight.
