DMac & Al get Jorge Sedano’s vibe on Danilo Gallinari’s health & if he’s an All-Star type of player anymore. Big Al says Gallo’s best fit would be in Golden State or Cleveland, and Jorge says Gallo can no longer be a centerpiece, especially with the injury history. Nuggets have great young assets, but Jorge notes that Gallo makes them consistently competitive. Denver’s lifestyle is a good pitch, but the winning tradition is missing, and DMac asks Jorge if that’s hurting Denver in the NBA free agency sweepstakes. Also, Jorge says if you’re in Denver, the Kevin Love addition doesn’t do anything for you, and the best solution is to follow the GSW model.
