‘No Fly Zone’ reacts to Broncos CB Aqib Talib’s NFL Top 100 rank

Another member of the Denver Broncos “No Fly Zone” landed on the NFL Network’s “Top 100” list Monday, with cornerback Aqib Talib coming in at No. 37 to join Chris Harris Jr., who was ranked No. 63 last month.

The duo, graded as Pro Football Focus’ as the top two cornerbacks in the league last season, are the only Broncos to make the list thus far, though it’s likely at least one more, pass rusher Von Miller, should fall somewhere in between 29 and 1.

The difference, however, between two defensive backs is not only how far each slipped down this year’s list — 11 spots for Harris as opposed to just three for Talib — but also their reactions.

Harris, on with 104.3 The Fan’s “The Drive” immediately after his episode, called the list a “joke.”

“We all know that show, it’s a joke, really. I guess it’s popularity or whatever, but it is what it is,” Harris said. “As long as I keep getting voted All-Pro every year, Pro Bowl every year, that’s the main thing I’m really focusing on.”

Harris said he’s focusing on the hardware because “being in the ‘Top 100’ doesn’t put you in the Hall of Fame, All-Pros do.”

Talib, on the contrary, said being ranked 37th in a league as talented as the NFL “ain’t bad.”

Fellow “No Fly Zone” member T.J. Ward, however, did take exception to where both Talib and Harris fell on the list.

Harris also commented on Houston Texans pass rusher J.J. Watt coming in at No. 35 on the 2017 list despite playing in just three games last season.

Watt, too, called the annual list a “joke” on Twitter, saying:
