Rockies pitchers Senzatela, Holland earn NL monthly honors

A pair of Colorado Rockies hurlers has earned top marks among their National League peers for their efforts in the month of April.

Rockies closer Greg Holland earned N.L. Reliever of the Month honors while starter Antonio Senzatela was named the league’s Rookie of the Month, the team announced via Twitter.

In April, Holland threw in 12 games, saving 11 games in as many attempts and putting up a 1.50 ERA and 1.000 WHIP.

Senzatela was similarly dominant last month, earning a 3-1 record with a 2.81 ERA and 1.000 WHIP.
