Bernie Keefe of Fishing with Bernie gives Terry an update on the Granby area. Boating is open and the ice is free, and Bernie says the fishing is downright good. Granby is known for it’s lake trout, and Bernie highlights when you can see some luck with fat and feisty browns & rainbows. Working a crank bait shallow can be successful when dealing with weather, and Bernie says it’s good to slow down your movement once you find fish. Use tube jigs for the smaller fish, and a minimal presentation can be used with aggressive jigging. Also, Terry tells Bernie about the three famous taps you’ll hear when walleye or salmon fishing.
