Troy Renck of Denver7 joins Big Al & DMac to talk how the Broncos really feel about the current QB’s on the roster. Troy doesn’t see the Broncos bringing in a veteran like Kaepernick to promote competition considering they have Austin Davis for that. Part of why Denver wasn’t in on Romo may have been Vance Joseph’s added confidence in the QB’s that are already here after he got a good look at them. Never say never has been the Broncos’ philosophy, and that may have been what pushed this story out longer than it should have gone, says Renck. Al is confused about what Denver does now, and gauges Troy’s belief that either Siemian or Lynch will be ready to go this season. Troy mentions the need for a playmaker in the Broncos offense and how nice it would be for Denver to start imposing their will up front. The offense will be better Renck says, and the addition of a consistent running game will do wonders for the offense.
