Larry highlights the extra fish from the hatchery at Blue Mesa, and how hard it’s been recovering from the population crash in 2008. Fish still suffering from gill lice, but Larry reminds Nate that Eleven Mile still produces some of the biggest rainbows in the state. Larry says it’s all about the wind, and checking water temperature at different levels. Water dogs, suckers and cast-masters are working for Larry, and he mentions what the warmer water does to aggressive fish.
