The Drive LIVE at The Fan Football Fest, Big Al and DMac talk as the Broncos wrapped up their final preseason game and now look forward to the start of the regular season. Big Al and D-Mac break down the take-aways from the game and look over the Broncos roster cuts as they work their way down to the final 53-man roster.
The Drive with Big Al and D-Mac gets off and running LIVE From the Fan Football Fest as 9News Broncos insider joins the show to give his thoughts on the team. They ask him to break down the first round of cuts and get an idea of which players the Broncos might add from free agency as the Broncos work their way down to the final 53-man roster. The Big Three at 3:30 is headlined by the preseason coming to an end, USC quarterbacks being overrated, the fate of Mark Sanchez, whether or not Ronnie Hillman is going to make the team, Colin Kaepernick making a bit of a pivot from his protests, and if the preseason should be cut down to fewer games.
The fellas close the show talking about the Fan Football Fest fantasy drafts and banter about the way Big likes to draft his teams.
Football at Four kicks off with Mark Schlereth joining the fellas in the studio and they have a chat about the final preseason game and argue over whether or not the NFL needs to have four preseason games. The conversation shifts over to the players that are being cut and how the Broncos have gone about finalizing their roster.
After Schlereth leaves they fellas shift the conversation to CU and CSU and later Charles Johnson joins the show and the guys chat about the Rocky Mountain Showdown and discuss the keys to the game for both teams and what it means for both teams to come away with a win.
The second hour of the show closes with Cecil Lammey joining the show live and dropping some fantasy football knowledge on the fellas. This leads to a conversation on the growth of daily fantasy football. They finish up the conversation with Cecil’s breakdown of the Broncos roster going into the regular season.
The third and final hour underway as Broncos’ Linebacker Shaquil Barrett joins the show as we’re about an hour away from kickoff of the Rocky Mountain Showdown between CU and CSU. The fellas also break down his relationship with the Broncos, from trade rumors with the Browns and Joe Thomas to right now. Listen to our conversation with Shaq HERE!
