You never know what Deion Sanders is going to be able to pull off.
With national signing day in full swing, Coach Prime has landed another big fish. Four-star recruit Adam Hopkins just announced he’s headed to the University of Colorado. Hopkins had previously been committed to SEC powerhouse Auburn, with additional offers from Arkansas, Florida State and Texas A&M.

Hopkins is a 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver who also plays in the secondary. It’s unclear what his primary position will be at CU, but he could see action on both sides of the ball. 247 sports spoke with Hopkins and reports it wasn’t just Sanders, but Colorado assistants Tim Brewster, Nick Williams and Kevin Mathis that influenced his decision.
“I just love everybody there,” Hopkins told the website. “Me going in there I can trust them.”
As a senior at Thomas County Central High School in Georgia, Hopkins caught 33 passes for 490 yards and six touchdowns. He finished his high school career with 16 receiving TDs. You can watch some of his highlights here.
