Guest: Lonnie Somers Founder & Chairman Lonnie’s wife found out she had a fetal condition when she was pregnant with their twins.  This condition could be fatal to one or both babies.  They found a doctor who specialized in their condition and luckily both girls survived, 20 years ago it would have been a 50% chance of both girls living.  Twin to Twin takes the lives of more babies than SIDS.  Every day we lose the lives of over 150 babies due to a fetal condition.  There was no organization to help families with fetal health and that was why they started Fetal Health Foundation.  Fetal health conditions are being found when the pregnancy is at 20 weeks.  This is nothing because of something the mom did, we are still learning what causes this.  Coming up in November is their 20th 5k called the Great Candy Run.        www.FetalHealthFoundation.org
