Mile High Magazine 04/02/2023 Millennials Exceed Older Generations in Chronic Health Conditions

Guest: Craig Kurtzweil VP with the UnitedHealthcare Center for Advanced Analytics Millennials are different from how they access and demand health care, they are the main group in the work force right now.  Because of this change, it is causing studies with health care companies.  The millennial generation is quicker to use emergency rooms, urgent cares, or telehealth and they are the lowest generation to use traditional doctors.  Because of this mentality, it is harder to get an earlier diagnosis on long-term medical conditions.  The health care providers are figuring out how to adjust to meet the millennials were they are to make sure they are still doing things such as yearly physicals.
