Guest:  Jeanene Smith Associate Director There is no test for ovarian cancer.  If detected early, women have a 95% chance of surviving more than 5 years. However, the majority of cases are diagnosed in late stages when their cancer has spread and is more difficult to treat.  COCA has six monthly support groups, now virtually with COVID-19.  They offer individual consoling as well.  They also have a financial assistance program to help women with cost of living expenses.  September 19th they have an event called Pedal with Polumbas.  He will be riding a bike around Mile High Stadium for 100 miles.  Tyler Polumbus is a former Bronco player who lost his mom just a few months ago to ovarian cancer.      https://www.colo-ovariancancer.org/
