Guest: Eileen Lambert Executive Director They started in 2013 because they saw an in people relinquishing their pets that did not want to; it was just a matter of getting the food out to people who need it.  Colorado Pet Pantry is one of the largest in the country.  The idea of a pet food bank has been growing.  People can donate bag of pet food that has been open, it just needs to be sealed tight.  They have over 100 locations around the state that have donation bins.  They have 62 monthly food banks around Colorado.  If someone needs food for their pet, they just need to find a location and bring a photo idea.  A person can go once every two months.  They need volunteer and people can also donate money online or even donate food even leashes or collars.             https://www.coloradopetpantry.org/
