Guest: Katie Parker VP of Sheltering The Pittie Party is an event at the Denver Dumb Friends League that celebrates pit bulls and pit bull type dogs. In the month of June, they celebrate all of the unique qualities and what makes the breed so special.  Pit bulls are like any other dog and they all have their own personalities so they are trying to change the stigma people have about the breed.  During the month of June the Denver Dumb Friends League is giving people who adopt a pit bull a week of training, they get some special toys and treats and adoption fees are just $50.  Ddfl.org
