Guest: Megan Salas with the Anthro Lab and Meiko Lunetta Philanthropy Manager at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science Girls & Science is in its 9th year, it is a month long event that to get girls interested in STEM.  The girls get a chance to meet women in the field and also gives them an opportunity to be hands on with different activities.  There is a free kick off eventfrom  on March 3rd from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.  Girls Inc has created an activity box that include several experiments that girls can try at home.  The boxes are $35 but Girls Inc has a sliding scale if someone is not able to afford that.  They want to make sure no girl is turned away.     www.dmns.org/girlsandscience https://www.girlsincdenver.org/programs/outsidethebox/
