Guest: Dagmar Kress Metropolitan State University of Denver Professor Girls and Since is an education and outreach campaign to motivate girls to explore STEM careers.   If a girl is interested in getting into a STEM career they should get a mentor and work with them to help them get even further into their career choice.  Parents can go the website and request a thINC Outside the Box kit to give their girls.  The box includes books, several experiments you can try at home, a cool ruler from Raytheon, a Girls Inc notebook to record your findings and more.  There will be a Girls & Science Community Conversation which will be streamed “LIVE” on CBS News Colorado on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 5pm.  https://www.girlsincdenver.org/
