Carl Esquivel The Salvation Army has been around since 1865 and looks differently since it tailors to the local communities they are in.  Some of the services they provide in the Denver area are homeless assistance, they have food pantries, emergency assistance, rental assistance, utilities assistance, and so many other programs.  One of the big things the Salvation Army is working right now is Pack A Backpack.  Pack A Backpack will send kids off to school with a backpack full of school supplies.  Families are struggling to pay the bills and some do not have the extra money to get school supplies.  This year they are trying to help 4,000 children.  You can drop off donations at Les Swab Tire locations.  You can also make a donation online.  If you are needing a backpack, reach out to your local Salvation Army.        www.packabackpack.org https://denver.salvationarmy.org/
