Guest: Major Mike Dickinson The Salvation Army is starting rescue Christmas, for the first time in 130-years, The Salvation Army is starting its annual holiday fundraising campaign early in order to rescue Christmas. The funds raised through the organization's iconic red kettles are at risk this year due to COVID-19 during a time when requests for services are at an all-time high.  They could see up to a 50% decrease in funds raised through their iconic red kettles due to economic impacts from COVID-19, such as closed retails stores, less retail foot traffic, people carrying less cash and coins, etc. To help meet the increased need, They are making it safer and simpler than ever for people to donate to The Salvation Army. The best way to ensure that services continue is to give with a sustaining monthly gift of $25 per month. Consider donating gifts in bulk or adopting more angels to allow The Salvation Army to sustain Angel Tree giving. Give online at imsalvationarmy.org.
