Guest: Jeff Derry – Executive Director They are research group that monitors snow pack and what makes it evolve to what makes it melt.  About 80% of the water in Colorado comes from the snow pack.  Colorado is still in a drought, we still do not have the big snowfall we need.  One of the big things they research is the dusting on the snow.  The dusting, depending on the coloring make the snow melt faster.  The Colorado Avalanche and Information center has reported that we are in a very dangerous year for avalanches.  http://www.codos.org/
