Mile High Magazine 11/24/2024 Giving Machines Denver

Guest: Michael Rush  Giving Machines are big red vending machines, you can donate a life changing item to one of five local Denver based charities or two international charities.  100% of your donations goes to the charity you choose.  The Giving Machines are located in Cherry Creek North and will be open until January 5th.  Every charity has five items for you to choose from.  You could donate insulin for a child with type 1 diabetes to Children's Diabetes Foundation, a vest or treats for a service dogs with Canine Partners of the Rockies, or for $7 you can donate a chicken to a young mother in a developing country so she's able to give eggs to her kids.  The other local charities to donate to this year are Family Promise of Greater Denver, Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains, and Mile High United Way.  The two international charities are IDE Global and Days For Girls.  You never know who you will run into when you go to the Giving Machines, you might see some Colorado athletes and mascots. https://givingmachinesdenver.org/
