Guest: Andrea Ogg a heart recipient and Cheryl Talley, Director of PR and Communications at Donor Alliance Donor Alliance has a mission of healing and saving lives through organ and tissue donation.  Donor Alliance educates and inspires people to sign up to be a donor when they get their ID’s at the DMV.  There are 1,500 people in our community that are waiting for life saving transplants.  Andrea was born with a congenital heart disease but was not diagnosed until her mid-30s.  When she was 52 she had a heart transplant.  Since her transplant her life has been so much better and she has even ran a half marathon.  One donor can save up to 8 lives with an organ donation and 75 with tissue donation.  Any one of any age can be donor. https://www.donoralliance.org/
