Guest: Executive Director Serve 6.8 helps families who are hurting connect with local churches to get the help they need. It could be with food, clothing, financial, job support, even legal services.  They now have 60 church partners and over 1500 volunteers and they help over 19,000 families a year.  With the current fires in the state, they have reached out to the community for donations and help with relief supplies.  They have also been able to set up a shelter for those who have been evacuated and plan to help people financially and projects around their house they might need once they can get back into their homes.  The best way people can help right now to sign up for a volunteer as well as financial support.  People who have been impacted by the fires are going to be needing help for a while.      https://serve68.org/
