Guest: Monique McCoy Vice Presidents of External Affairs Brent's Place is a long-term home away from home for families and children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses while they receive treatment at local hospitals.  They are one of the only places in the region that can keep families together.  They started 26 years ago with two apartments and they now have 60 apartments and six hospitality suites. Brent’s Place is so much more then just a place to have a roof over their head, community, meal support, family outings are also other things the family will receive.  There is no limit to how long a family can stay with Brent’s Place.  Coming up on August 5th is Brent’s Place Block Party.  This year is a carnival themed event that is fun for all ages.  The event is free and open to the public, they just ask that you register on their website.  https://www.brentsplace.org/
