Mile High Magazine 08/02/2020 City of Denver Be A Giver

Guest: Bryn Daly Donations and Drives Coordinator  The City of Denver is doing a school supply drive called Be A Giver.  They are in their 10th year and they give supplies to families supported by Denver Human Services Programs as well as programs like A Precious Child, and hundreds of individual donors.  They supply backpacks filled with school supplies to students who might not have access to gaining these supplies.  The students are in grades K-12.  Due to COVID-19 they are only offering services online or over the phone.  They are unable to have their community event this year; the staff will be delivering the supplies to the students this year.       denvergov.org/give
