The Denver Broncos have their new head coach, which appears to be a complete 180-degree turn from their previous play caller.
So, who is Denver’s new head coach, Nathaniel Hackett?
Here are some fast facts:
• Hackett replaces Vic Fangio, who went 19-30 the previous three seasons, including the worst two-year stretch by a Broncos head coach since 1967-’68
• Hackett was reportedly set to interview with the Jacksonville on Thursday, but the Broncos stepped in Wednesday night to get a deal done
• His previous NFL jobs include offensive coordinator with the Packers (2019-’21), Jaguars (2016-’18) and Bills (2013-’14)
• With Aaron Rodgers under center and Hackett calling the plays, Green Bay’s offense was top 10 in production the past two seasons, including No. 1 in 2020
• In the three seasons with Hackett as his coordinator, Rodgers went 39-9, throwing for 111 touchdowns, 12,416 yards and only 13 interceptions
