The Draft begins on April 29 and the Broncos have already been listed as a team who could make a prospective trade on day one.
The first three picks are all but locked with the Jaguars, Jets and 49ers all expected to draft their future quarterbacks.
But then what?
The Atlanta Falcons are in an enviable position with the fourth overall pick. They could take the best position player available, but the team is also open to trading up.
Rapoport says the Broncos are one of the top two teams that could trade up.
“If they don’t acquire another candidate between now and the draft they are considered a top trade up candidate,” Rapoport said.
Some form of competition is in Denver’s plans.
Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson and Mac Jones are slated right now to be the top three picks.
That leaves Justin Fields or Trey Lance for the Broncos if they trade up.
Could Denver make a move on a before draft night? We will find out soon.
