Broncos walking through practice today, Buffs amped up for the Alamo Bowl!

The Drive with DMac and Tyler Polumbus (in for Big Al) touch on the Emmanuel Sanders situation from yesterday as the fellas welcome in Cecil Lammey to talk some Broncos as the team was walking through practice today, prepping for the Raiders. Chad Brown joins the show LIVE from San Antonio to help preview tonight’s Alamo Bowl, featuring the CU Buffs and the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Drive with DMac and Tyler Polumbus (in for Big Al) LIVE in studio gets going with DMac touching on the Emmanuel Sanders situation that has had 24 hours to stew. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up tonight’s Alamo Bowl game between CU and Oklahoma State, Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin’s relationship and Ronda Rousey v Amanda Nunes tomorrow night. Cecil Lammey, our Fan Broncos Insider, joins the show to talk about what the feeling was today out at UC Health Training Center as the Broncos partook in a walk-through, prepping for the Oakland Raiders. Cecil says it’s Von Miller’s time to help out some of these young players now that DeMarcus Ware’s time in Denver looks to be over. DMac asks if Von is ready for captaincy? Another story came out in which Rashaan Salaam’s cause of death has been released and confirmed as a suicide. The fellas talk about fan bases and how hard they are on a professional sports organization. Denver is nicer compared to other cities around the country. Chad Brown joins the show LIVE from San Antonio as he’s down in Texas with the Colorado Buffaloes’ Football team for tonight’s Alamo Bowl match-up with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Also, DMac talks about Arkansas Tight End Jeremy Sprinkle, who was busted for shoplifting from a Belk Department store, while his team was on a Belk shopping spree for playing in today’s Belk Bowl. The fellas preview what to expect tonight, is Sefo an NFL Quarterback? Listen to the conversation with Chad HERE! The hour wraps up with the guys talking about George Karl’s new book and all of the aftermath that has happened since quotes from the book were released last week.
The third and final hour of The Drive starts off talking about how this Broncos organization handles adversity and any drama that is thrown their way. DMac talks about some of the other issues he’s had with other sports organizations around town, including a question to former Avs Forward Chris Drury. The fellas talk about the Dan Hawkins era of CU Football. The Closing Bell rings on the CU Buffs in the Alamo Bowl and the level of respect for DeMarcus Ware, who might have already played his last game in the Orange and Blue. Trending down is Marvin Lewis returing to the Bengals for his 14th year. Also trending down is the amount of trash talk in the NFL next season as Steve Smith Sr. has said he’s “likely” done.
