Talib gets second opinion on back, status in doubt for Oakland game

The Drive with Big Al and DMac talking World Series Baseball as the Chicago Cubs snapped the curse of the goat and beat the Cleveland Indians last night. Broncos news today includes Aqib Talib flying to California to get a second opinion on his injured back, Mike Klis joined the show and said Talib is very questionable to play. The fellas also spoke with Cecil Lammey, who let us know who could fill in Talib’s spot and how it could effect the defense.
The Drive LIVE with DMac in studio, Big Al in Houston as the world (except Cleveland) celebrates the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series. Alfred compliments Joe Buck and John Smoltz on their work in the booth last night while DMac points out the multiple gaffs Joe Maddon made during the series and his team won regardless. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up the World Series and it’s ranking in all time great games in sports history, green apples being left at Harry Caray’s grave and Theo Epstein’s place as best General Manager in MLB history. Cecil Lammey comes in studio to join the show and talk about Aqib Talib’s injury as Aqib has been sent to California for a second opinion. Football at Four underway with Big Al and DMac focusing on Raiders’ rusher Khalil Mack. Next, Wade Phillips spoke to the media today, revealing he might be coaching from the box this weekend because of his broken rib suffered last week in San Diego. Mike Klis from 9NEWS joins the show to celebrate the Cubs World Series victory. Talking about fans, there is a sense of ownership from a fan base when it comes to their teams, their team’s win is their win. Moving to Broncos, the fellas talk about what is the newest update on Aqib Talib. Mike let’s us know the prognosis is that surgery is not needed right now but possible at the end of the season. The third and final hour of The Drive underway talking World Series baseball as you can’t help but be happy for the Cubs fan base. Remember the excitement around the city when the Rockies went to the World Series. Moving to the Broncos, DMac is still scared by Khalil Mack. Trending up and Trending down, it’s The Closing Bell and it rings on the World Series’ ratings, which were the best in 15 years. Also trending up is CU Football, favored by 14 tonight against UCLA. Trending down is the No Fun League as Richard Sherman says ratings are down because the league isn’t fun anymore.
