It’s Game Plan Wednesday here on The Drive with Big Al and DMac as DMac returns after a 30 minute delay, thank you to Cecil Lammey for filling in. The fellas are joined by Earl Boykins in hour one to talk about the NBA, focusing on the Nuggets as the preseason has already begun. Chad Brown comes in studio to help implement the Game Plan with the fellas as they dive head first into this pending match up with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Drive LIVE with Big Al and Cecil Lammey, who’s in for the jury-serving DMac. The conversation immediately gets going with Broncos Quarterback talk as BOTH Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch spoke with the media earlier today out at UC Health Training Center. DMac joins the show in the first segment as the conversation begins between the three about which Quarterback should start for the Broncos. The Big Three at 3:30 brings in Earl Boykins and brings up Bleacher Report did a report on NFL players and who they’d vote for in the Presidential election, Justin Forsett and the Ravens agree to a buyout and Ubaldo Jimenez gave up the walk off Home Run last night to the Blue Jays. The hour wraps with the fellas and Earl talking NBA as the Nuggets preseason has already started.
Football at Four underway with comments made by Coach Kubiak today about Aqib Talib’s situation and the severity of possible punishment. We also hear comments made by Peter King from Monday Morning Quarterback on The Fan Morning Show about Talib and his possible punishment. No hat day for the Broncos out at Dove Valley today as the team was in helmets for practice today. A caller brings up Plaxico Burress in comparison to Aqib Talib, Plaxico was suspended four games by the Giants, no action was taken by the NFL.
The third and final hour underway with Chad Brown in studio and the question is brought up, what is this punishment that Aqib Talib will receive? Moving onto this week’s opponent for the Broncos, the Atlanta Falcons come to town on Sunday as the fellas shine some light on a familiar face that’s on the Falcons coaching staff… Kyle Shanahan. The Closing Bell rings on MLB Playoffs and Von Miller as trending up. Trending down is Trevor Siemian and Leonard Fournette. The show wraps up with the fellas talking about tonight’s one game play off between the San Francisco Giants and the New York Mets.
